Don Feathers, CPA
Don is a CPA and senior real estate executive with more than 25 years in real estate private equity, capital formation and development leadership — working with and for ultra-high-net-worth developers, family offices and accredited investors. He founded Roaring Fork Development in 2009 and leads it as a principal and owner-side developer.
Across his career he has raised over $1B in debt financing and $200M+ in private equity, and led the full development of more than 600 acres of land — from due diligence and closing through entitlements, public finance for infrastructure, and lease-up. As a CFO/COO he has driven portfolio value growth and operational turnarounds across office, industrial, retail, multifamily and mixed-use assets.
Today his owner-side work spans master-planned redevelopments, adaptive reuse, distressed assets and corporate-campus repositioning across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida and Colorado. The throughline is simple: see the value others miss in complicated land, then do the patient, technical work — capital, TIF, entitlements, leasing — to make it real.
